MATCHING RESOURCES FOR HURRICAINE KATRINA VICTIMS

Academic Learning Company, parent company of Velázquez Press is internally matching employee donations for Hurricane Katrina’ New Orleans and Southern Mississippi victims. ALC is currently incorporating both monetary and educational support by publishing a conversation survival guide for non-English speaking communities.

As the rebuilding process begins, many victims are yet to receive aid due to language barriers. Therefore, during this time of crisis monetary donations and resources to communicate are the primary focal point in helping Hurricane Katrina’s victims.
